| Molly Easter
is a member of the Georgia-Alabama Angels baton twirling team. They recently attended a
world baton twirling competition in South Bend, Indiana at Notre Dame. The Angels Tiny-Tot
teams consists of seven little girls, including Molly, between the ages of 6-8. The
Tiny-Tots team came home with a 1st. place trophy. They have been preparing and practicing
all summer for this event. They usually work from 8 to 10 hours a day five days a week. |

| Molly also competed in some solo events. She
won |
1st place in two different events. |

| The first 1st place was for a strut routine. In this |
| routine you are not allowed to release the baton. |
| You also have to twirl in a pattern while staying |
| in step with marching music. Sometimes this is a |
| difficult task for kids who have not been in a marching |
| band. |

Molly has been competing for two years. |

She has won several 1st place trophies |

in her regional competition. The region |

consists of Alabama, Mississippi, and |
|
Louisiana. Molly is looking forward to a |
|
new year. She will be moving up to a new |
|
